Stefanos Spanopoulos 

Stefanos Spanopoulos was born in Athens where he had his first piano lessons at the age of 9. At the age of 16, he obtained a higher piano degree with the highest distinction at the city's Superior National Conservatory.
After obtaining a 6-year scholarship from the Academy of Athens, he went to Paris to study with Germaine Mounier at the Êcole Normale de Musique de Paris/Alfred Cortot, where he obtained a series of Higher Degrees, such as the Superior Degree of Interpretation, the Higher Degree in Teaching, the Higher Degree in Chamber Music, and the Higher Degree in Concert Artist.
He has attended international courses such as the Sommerakademie of the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, and the Menuhin Academy in Switzerland.
He has been the winner of international competitions such as the Albert Roussel Competition in Sofia (Bulgaria), the “Joaquín Rodrigo” International Competition in Madrid, and the Young Performers of Greece competition. In 2009 he won the Award for best repertoire pianist of the Higher Grade in the Intercentros competition.
He has performed concerts and tours and has collaborated with orchestras such as the Paris Orchestra, the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, the RTVE Symphony Orchestra, the Navarra Symphony Orchestra, the Valencia Orchestra, the Valencian Community Orchestra, under the direction of Neeme Jarvi, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Adrian Leaper, Yaron Traub, Oliver Gilmoure, Enrique García Asensio, in venues such as the Salle Pleyel in Paris, the Sala Bulgaria in Sofia, the Sala Cortot in Paris, the Teatro Monumental in Madrid, the Palau de la Música and the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, the Principal theater in Castellón, the Auditorium in León, the Kursaal in San Sebastián, the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga among the most notable.
He has performed in Chamber Music Recitals with master soloists from ensembles such as the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Komische Oper, the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra, the Valencian Community Orchestra, the Orchestra of Valencia, the OBC of Barcelona among the most outstanding.
Stefanos Spanopoulos speaks seven languages ​​and was awarded at the age of 11 at the fifth National Mathematics Olympiad.
