BY PLANE

       The closest International Airport to Murcia is Alicante. 

       To arrive in Murcia you can either:

     OPTION 1: Take a bus (Line C6 www.subus.es ) to Alicante (train station) AIRPORT -> ALICANTE       Crossroad N-332 / N340 / Aguamarga – Avenida Elche / Train station and then go to Murcia by train. www.renfe.es 

 

      OPTION 2: Going to Murcia by bus. Itinerary: Airport (opposite arrivals and departures) -  San Andrés Bus Station (C/Los Bolos s/n) MURCIA  www.alsa.es 

 

BY TRAIN OR PLANE

       From Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia or Alicante you can arrive in Murcia by train. From Madrid, there is a new high-speed train that might make easier long distances journeys. The web to buy the train ticket is www.renfe.es 

       - To arrive in Murcia from Madrid Airport by train. From Madrid Airport you have to take the Metro (Underground). Take line 8 (pink line) until Nuevos Ministerios, then change to line 10 (blue line) and go to CHAMARTIN. Chamartin is a double station for underground and train. In Chamartin (Madrid main Train Station) you have to take the train that goes to Murcia. The train usually is 3 hours long. The web to buy the train ticket is www.renfe.es 

       You have to enter Madrid as a Departure and Murcia for Arrival. You have to choose the one that is more convenient for your arrival in Madrid. Take at least 1 to 2 hours of difference between your arrival to Madrid and your departure to Murcia. 

 

BY ROAD

        To arrive in Murcia you have to take the A7 freeway if you come from the coast, or the A3 freeway if you come from Madrid.
